Ana Luísa Maulvault
Ana Maulvault holds a master degree in Marine Biology (University of Algarve) and a PhD degree in Environmental Sciences and Sustainability (Nova University of Lisbon). She is currently a post-doctoral researcher at MARE and IPMA, with expertise in emerging chemical contaminants and climate change effects, particularly in toxicokinetics, marine ecotoxicology (using biochemical, haematological, physiological and histopathological tools) and risk assessment. She published 48 papers in international peer-reviewed journals, 4 book chapters and performed over 60 conference presentations. She has been involved in the scientific development of several European (e.g. H2020 SEAFOODtomorrow H2020 BAPSI, H2020 CERES, FP7 ECsafeSEAFOOD) and National (e.g. Mar2020 LabVivos, EDCSeafood, FCT FishBudget, AquaARAM) projects.
