Simulation of different climate change scenarios
In Task 1., several fish trials will be carried out in order to simulate the exposure to different climate change scenarios, including long-term exposure to seawater warming and acidification, as well as short-term exposure to extreme weather events, i.e. heat waves. Pelagic and benthic juvenile fish species from both temperate (e.g. Diplodus sargus and Solea senegalensis) and subtropical/tropical (e.g. Diplodus cervinus and Zebrasoma scopas) will be used as models.
